What makes an artist paint a poo in the shape of an airplane? In Bill Zeman’s case, it would be his boss/four-year-old daughter’s constant requests, combined with her continual rejection of his other work. Zeman’s blog consists of paintings combined with short commentaries from him, his daughter detailing where the idea came from, and what the little critic’s blunt opinion is. The artwork itself does not really seem to be the point, as it varies in style and quality; what makes this site worth visiting is the look at the psyche of a child interacting with art and the difference in how two minds work, illustrated by what she asks for, what he produces and the reactions he gets. Visit Tiny Art Director, feel young again and help put Zeman’s boss through college one day.
