Your Twitter homepage might change frequently, but that doesn’t mean you have to lose every tweet once it’s gone from the main page. If you’re feeling particularly attached to a tweet (yours or someone else’s, it doesn’t matter), or you want to store it safely for later reference, simply click the star icon next to the tweet, and it’s saved forever under your “favorites” tab (located on the Twitter homepage sidebar). It’s much handier than scrolling through pages and pages of tweets looking for that witty comment or interesting link someone posted days or weeks earlier. And in addition to being a personal resource, favorites are also a good way to share tweets with other users. When other twitterers visit your profile, in addition to your updates, there’s also a tab for them to view the tweets you’ve selected as favorites. Think of it as your own personal Best of Twitter list.
