“Where Children Love to Learn and Learn to Grow.” That’s the motto, and we’ve got to agree. Yes, Scholastic is a publisher of children’s books, but that’s not all, as its website is bonanza for kids, parents, teachers, and even school administrators. The resources here range from serious materials to help teachers emphasize literacy to more lighthearted fare, like “Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy.” Who can resist such a diversity of reading materials? Not us. Hey, we’ve been happy to jump into plenty of the games and features here, like “WordGirl,” “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” “Magic School Bus,” and an area called The Stacks, with videos, author interviews, and more. You may do more playing than reading here, but you won’t be bored.
